Uptown Funk is 5th biggest single in UK history

It’s official Uptown Funk has become the fifth biggest selling single in UK history. The Mark Ronson track featuring Bruno Mars has overtaken Wings by Mull of Kintyre/Girls’ School which was released in 1977.

Uptown Funk was UK’s biggest hit in 2015, it has been streamed over sixty million times in here alone and sold over two million copies, since it was released in November 2014.

Sony music artists are now responsible for two of the 5 biggest selling tracks in UK chart history with Pharrell Williams’ Happy sitting and number 4 and now Mark Ronson’s single Uptown Funk at number 5.
