Tunng are set to release their new album Turbines on 17th June through Full Time Hobby.
The band is scattered between England and Iceland yet their powerful 5th album feels surprisingly tight. Founding member Mike Lindsay says it’s all down to Turbines subject matter, an imagined fantasy village. He says: “It’s a fantasy of a place with its own characters where we don’t necessarily fit in, where we observe the others and their strange behaviour.”
Tunng will play two intimate (and already sold out) shows at The Lexington on 8th and 9th July.
