Trevor Nelson will release new compilation album Trevor Nelson Club Classics on 4th November 2016.
Released through UMOD (Universal Music On Demand), the 3CD release features a collection of old school soul classics, modern R&B hits and forgotten gems. The collection spans from the early 70s to present day.
Artists featured on the collection include favourites such as James Brown, The Jackson 5, Kool & The Gang and Stevie Wonder through to newer stars such as Drake, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Jeremih and Alessia Cara. The 90s are well represented by the likes of Blackstreet, Warren G and Jodeci and stars of the noughties such as Ashanti, Nelly, Kelis and Ne-Yo also feature.
R&B fans will certainly find plenty to enjoy over the generous selection curated by Trevor.
Trevor is one of the UK’s leading DJs in the urban scene with an award-winning career than spans decades. In his career he has worked at Kiss FM, worked with artists such as D’Angelo and Lynden David Hall, and presented the first national R&B show on BBC Radio 1.
Currently he hosts weekday shows at BBC 1Xtra and a weekly BBC Radio 2 Saturday evening show Trevor Nelson’s Rhythm Nation. He also DJ’s worldwide with a long-running residency at Pacha in Ibiza.
