Finding an official FA Cup Anthem is always a bit of a challenge, so this year a ‘Battle of the Bands’ style initiative was introduced to give fans a chance to pick the winner ahead of the FA Cup Final.
A six-strong shortlist, including The Pigeon Detective, Lethal Bizzle and Devlin, are competing to produce the soundtrack to the world’s oldest domestic football competition; one of a series of events to mark The FA’s 150th anniversary.
Fans will be given the chance to vote for their favourite on The FA Cup website in the lead up to the Final.
Further acts and live performances to be announced as the competition progresses and voting will open after the Semi-Finals, with the winner announced ahead of The FA Cup Final on Saturday 11 May.
