New York singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega will embark on a 12-date UK tour kicking off in September 2017.
The tour will celebrate the 30th and 25th anniversaries of her albums Solitude Standing and 99.9F. She will perform both in full as well as more tracks from her career.
The tour will begin in Glasgow on September 22nd, before moving on to Gateshead, Bristol, Birmingham, Brighton, London, Manchester, and Cambridge, before finishing up in Oxford.
Fans can expect to hear hits such as Luka, Tom’s Diner and Blood Makes Noise.
Talking about the shows Suzanne says, “These songs were written and recorded many years ago, but I still love playing them live, and have ever since the albums first came out. Now to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Solitude Standing and the 25th Anniversary of 99.9F, my band and I will perform them both in their entirety for the very first time. Please join me for this very special concert!”
Over her career to date Suzanne has sold over 7 million records and emerged as a leading figure in the folk-music revival of the early 1980s. Solitude Standing earned her a nomination for Record of the Year at the Grammys.
