Soundgarden is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their critically-acclaimed fourth album Superunknown with a special reissue.
The album will be released on 2nd June as a Deluxe Edition 2-CD package and a Super Deluxe Edition 5-CD package. The Deluxe Edition will feature the remastered album along with a second disc containing demos, rehearsals, B-sides and more.
The Super Deluxe Edition will feature all of the material from the Deluxe Edition along with additional demos, rehearsals, B-sides and a fifth disc mixed in Blu-ray Audio 5.1 Surround Sound. It will be packaged as a hardbound book with a lenticular cover featuring liner notes by David Fricke and new artwork by Josh Graham.
As well as the 2 CD releases, Superunknown will also be released as a 2-LP gatefold featuring the original album remastered on 180-gram vinyl.
On 19th April the Superunknown singles and B-sides will be reissued for Record Story Day as a set of five limited edition 10″ singles with new artwork by Josh Graham.
