After a successful string of London DJ sets this past weekend, Sinkane has revealed details of his new album Mean Love, which is due to be released on 1st September via City Slang. The artist has also announced that the first single to be taken from the album will be Hold Tight.
Ahmed Gallab aka Sinkane created Mean Love, an emotional and existential history of himself. All of the artist’s music is influenced by Gallab’s childhood in Sudan and has that Pan-African vibe. Sinkane developed his craft with obsessive craftsmen such as Caribou, Yeasayer and Of Montreal but also by directing a musical, Atomic Bomb!.
