The Script is the first act to be announced for Forest Live 2015.
The band will perform at Thetford Forest, near Brandon, Suffolk on 2nd July 2015.
The annual summer music series is organised by the Forestry Commission and sees acts perform in unique woodland locations across England. The Script will be performing in support of their latest album No Sound Without Silence.
Fans can expect selections from the new album as well as classics from their previous three studio albums #3, Science & Faith and The Script.
Commenting on the forest show, Danny O’Donoghue for The Script said, āWe love performing live and our biennial gig in the woods is becoming a bit of a touring tradition, so we are really looking forward to playing Thetford Forest again in 2015.ā
Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission to bring both music and forests to new audiences. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding Englandās forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife. Over Forest Liveās 14 year history, money raised has contributed to a wide range of projects, from wildlife conservation to making improvements for visitors.
With everything required for a great night out, including full catering and bar facilities, the gigs are renowned for their relaxed atmosphere.
