Sarah Jarosz to release Undercurrent in June

Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Sarah Jarosz will release new album Undercurrent on 17th June 2016 through Sugar Hill Records.

Undercurrent is said to feature Jarosz’s ‘most personal songwriting to date’ and with the star co-producing the album with Grammy award-winning engineer/producer Gary Paczosa. Jarosz is joined on the record by Jedd Hughes and Luke Reynolds (Guster) on guitar/harmony vocals, and Mark Shatz contributing bass throughout the album. Sara Watkins and Aoife O’Donovan, her bandmates in I’m With Her, make an appearance on the Jarosz/O’Donovan co-write Still Life.

Jarosz plays guitar, octave mandolin, and banjo on the record as well as taking care of the lead vocal duties of course. Undercurrent is Jarosz’s first album since 2013’s Build Me Up From Bones, which received high praise from the critics.

Sarah will play US shows in the spring/summer, with a full tour schedule for Undercurrent to be announced.
