Sarah Darling releases new single Diamonds

Country singer-songwriter Sarah Darling has released her brand new single Diamonds.

The single is Darling’s second release in 2018, following her song Wasted which came out at the beginning of the year. Inspired by real life events, it’s a deeply personal yet relateable piano ballad which showcases Darling’s skill as a storyteller as well as her delicate vocals.

Darling says, “The song is a reminder that life is a journey with a lot of ups and downs. It’s the struggles that bring out the beauty. I’ve been to the bottom and literally had to pull myself back up, and I’m grateful for the whole adventure, not just the fun glittery parts. I think of how many wonderful things just need a little time and patience.”

Diamonds was written by Darling and Jessica Sharman, who has previously worked with UK country stars Ward Thomas. The song was produced by Mark Bright, who’s worked with artists including Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, and was recorded at the state-of-the art Starstruck Studios in Nashville.

Darling is one of the most popular acts on the UK country scene. Most recently she toured the country in March 2018, including a show at London’s Union Chapel. She also appeared at C2C in 2016 and 2017 and has opened for Ward Thomas, as well as touring with her ‘One Night In Nashville’. In her native US, she’s played at Nashville’s CMA Festival, toured with Kacey Musgraves, Vince Gill and Tim McGraw, and performed at the Grand Ole Opry more than 80 times.
