Rhiannon Giddens announces autumn UK & Ireland tour

Rhiannon Giddens is heading to the UK and Ireland in support of her second solo album Freedom Highway.

The tour will kick off on Friday 17th November 2017 at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. Rhiannon will then play dates in Bristol, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Pcklington, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow and Gateshead.

Tickets for the date go on sale on Friday 5th May at 9am.

Freedom Highway was released in February and it includes nine original songs Rhiannon wrote or co-wrote while she and her band toured after Tomorrow Is My Turnā€™s 2015 release. The album also features a traditional song and two civil rights-era songs, Birmingham Sunday and Staple Singers well-known Freedom Highway.
