Covered Records is Pulled Apart By Horses guitarist James Brown’s concoction. The idea is for bands to cover other bands tracks on 7” releases and the first one sees Pulled Apart Buy Horses cover Blood Red Shoes’ Heartsink whilst on the flip side Blood Red Shoes cover the Horses rollicking Get Off My Ghost Train.
In 2010 Blood Red Shoes and Pulled Apart By Horses toured together in the UK and Europe and then went on to festivals which included a shared main stage at Reading & Leeds festival.
Steve Ansell from Blood Red Shoes says about the release “We are kindred spirits and it’s about time we did this split we’ve been talking about for 3 years. We chose our favourite tune of theirs and sleazed it out a bit,” and James from PABH said “We thought this would be an amazing idea and pretty cool for fans. So chuffed it came together.”
You can get the 7″ from the 11th March and digitally from the 11th April.
