Synthpop trio Prides are releasing single The Seeds You Sow on 31st March.
The Glasgow-based band formed in 2013 after the demise of several local bands. Last summer they released Out of the Blue which garnered a lot of online attention and critical acclaim. They caught the attention of Island Records which is now their label home.
Stewart says, āThe Seeds You Sow is about realising that the things that happen around you are a result of your own actions. It’s about realising that the one you’re with isn’t the one, and the consequences that go with it. We wanted to make sure that it was loud, brave, and would grab people as soon as they heard it. The vocal hook is all about letting go, losing yourself, shouting as loud as you can, caution to the wind.ā
Prides are Stewart Brock, Callum Wiseman and Lewis Gardiner. Stewart sings and plays keyboards, Callum is lead guitarist, plays keys and sings and Lewis plays drums and is the bands producer.
