Adam Lambert continues his promotional push for new album The Original High with a cover shoot for OUT Magazine.
Arriving days after The Original High charted in the Top 10 of the UK album chart, the OUT Magazine shoot sees Adam talking about the album and his career to date. The interview is accompanied by an extensive black-and-white photoshoot.
Explaining the concept behind The Original High Adam says, “I wanted the album to be a real snapshot of my life, my real life, my authentic life in L.A. over the past 15 years.”
He also opens up about how he changed tack for this album saying, “When youāre younger and youāve got a skill, you tend to show off more ā you feel like you have more to prove. Over the last few years, Iāve gotten into a place where I feel a little more confident in what I do, and I donāt feel I need to prove myself as far as ālook at all the tricks I can do.ā Now music for me is more about wanting to prove that I can feel something.”
The new issue of OUT Magazine will be on sale from July 14, with the digital edition available from July 7. Get a sneak peek of the shoot in our gallery below:
