Positive Vibration Festival of Reggae reveals 2018 line-up details

The UK’s award-winning festival, Positive Vibration Festival of Reggae returns this June for a jam-packed weekend of cultural appreciation and positivity. The latest acts confirmed for this year’s events are revealed below.

Since its inception in 2016, this reggae festival has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s most exciting and eclectic reggae festivals, playing host to internationally renowned bands, legendary sound systems & selectors and some of the brightest new talent.

Taking place over the 8th & 9th June 2018 in Liverpool, the festival also sees the return of The Art of Reggae Exhibition a successful collaboration between Positive Vibration and the International Reggae Poster Contest.

The exhibition, which supports the Alpha Boys School in Jamaica, will showcase 100 reggae-inspired posters, designed by illustrators & artists from over 70 countries. Submissions are open now and until 1st March 2018 via an especially created page.

Each year the festival also hosts a Reggae Q&A session, in which it discusses the impact of Reggae on British music, culture and society. The topics are led by a panel of Reggae luminaries, from musicians, artists and DJs to promoters, record labels and other industry experts. The Q&A is an opportunity for the panel and festival-goers to engage with one another, sharing stories, knowledge and experiences. This is one of the festival’s most engaging moments.

Reggae fans should by tickets for Positive Vibrations Festival of Reggae now to avoid disappointment.
