Pink will release new single Just Like Fire on 15th April 2016 it has been announced.
The song is taken from Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming film Alice Through the Looking Glass and will be released via RCA Records/Walt Disney Records. A music video for the single directed by Dave Meyers will debut in early May.
Just Like Fire was co-written by Pink with Max Martin, Shellback and Oscar Holter. It was produced by Martin, Shellback and Holter specifically for the film. This song marks the first time that Pink has written an original song for a live action feature film.
Earlier this year Pink recorded a cover version of White Rabbit, which was used in the film’s marketing campaign.
Alice Through The Looking Glass is based on Lewis Carroll’s stories and stars Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska, Rhys Ifans, with Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen. The film opens in US cinemas on 27th May 2016.
