Paul Young will release his first solo album in over 20 years on Friday it has been announced.
The star will release Good Thing, and new single L-O-V-E, on Friday 15th April 2016. Good Thing is a collaboration with producer Arthur Baker, who is best known for his work with hip hop artists like Afrika Bambaataa & Planet Patrol and cross-over pop acts New Order and the Pet Shop Boys.
Good Thing is a collection of soul covers and sees Paul return to his soulful roots. Paul has hand selected each track on the record, which includes Al Greenās L-O-V-E, The Staple Singerās Touch A Hand, Make A Friend, Syl Johnsonās Back For A Taste Of Your Love, the Bee Geeās Words and Jonnie Taylorās I Believe In You.

Arthur Baker produced the album with past collaborator James Hallawell who also arranged, engineered, mixed and played on the record. The album will be distributed by ADA / New State Digital.
