Paolo Nutini is to return to the charts with new single Scream (Funk My Life Up) which is due for release on 30th March 2014.
The 27-year-old singer will release the single as the lead track from his new album Caustic Love released on 14th April. The album comes nearly five years after Nutini’s critically-acclaimed second album Sunny Side Up.
Scream (Funk My Life Up) is a mix of stripped down soul and cast-iron funk and you can hear the track using the SoundCloud embed below:
Caustic Love contains songs written by Nutini who also takes on production duties with Dani Castelar. The album was recorded in Valencia, London, Glasgow and the USA.
Since breaking through in 2006, Nutini has sold over 3.2 million albums in the UK along, won an Ivor Novello award and been nominated at the BRIT Awards. He was the biggest-selling UK male artist of 2009 and 2010.
