Olly Murs opened up to Andy Goulding on Free Radio about who he thinks may win this year’s series of The X Factor.
Despite the competition having only entered the bootcamp stage, Olly shared his thoughts saying, “I canāt tell you! I donāt know what the public think, itās up to everyone listening, theyāve got to vote. I obviously think Louisa, Che Chesterman, Antonās great, Seann Miley Moore, The First Kings, thereās so many, Josh Daniels. Thereās so many great artists, I just think itās a case of who gets the most votes!”
During the interview he revealed that he and Caroline won’t be traveling to the judges’ houses when the competition reaches that stage. He said, “It is amazing to think you could go to all these different destinations, but Iām actually happy weāre not doing it because the jet lag and everything going to the different countries back and forth, and getting on a plane is quite a lot of work. Iām actually quite pleased Iām just stuck in the UK, itās quite nice! Grimmy is in Manchester, thatās not even a joke, he actually did that! Obviously heās got radio commitments as you know. I feel sorry for him actually having to do that, but heās keeping it real!”
Olly also confirmed that he will be performing during The X Factor live shows this year. “Yes Iām gonna be performing in November, I canāt wait. Itās gonna be nice as well, because this year, all the contestants will have got to know me and theyāre all gonna be there, so itās gonna be nice to show the guys what Iām all about and what Iām doing, and obviously my new song!”
The X Factor continues on Sunday nights on ITV and Olly releases his new single Kiss Me is out now.
