I love DJ Yoda, I love how you never know what you’re going to get when you play a new track from him. It could be bizarre hip hop, a country music mashup or any number of combinations.
Today DJ Yoda has released Roxbury which features rising Jazz star Nubya Garcia and legendary MC Edo. G. It is is the perfect mix of Rap, Jazz and Soul.
The Roxbury track will be the lead single on the forthcoming Home Cooking album fro Lewis Recordings which has already been supported on Radio 6 by Lauren Laverne and Cerys Matthews, and BBC Radio 2’s Jamie Cullum.
DJ Yoda will be taking over Spiritland, King’s Cross on Wednesday 3rd April, with an album listening party and turntable session of LP influences.
