Neighbours actress Bonnie Anderson will release her debut UK single Sorry tomorrow (Monday 8th April) through BMG.
In her native Australia, Anderson is already a huge star thanks to her role as Beatrix in Neighbours. She’s also had a platinum hit back home but now it’s time for her to launch overseas.
Those who watch Neighbours will now that Anderson’s character Beatrix is a singer. Sorry has been interwoven into the soap and it will be performed on it this month.
āI wrote Sorry in 2016 when I was spending a bit of time in LA,ā Anderson explains of the songās conception. āI wrote a lot about my relationshipāthe broken times as well as the good timesāand Sorry was the product of the clear mind that songwriting process gave me.ā
āWriting Sorry felt like a huge weight off my back,ā she reveals. āI even shed a tear when recording the vocals, which was nice as I can hold my emotions in sometimes. It took me a long time, but I learned eventually that Iām worthy of a better me.ā
Anderson isn’t the first Neighbours star to turn her hand to music. Over the years the soap has launched the careers of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Craig McLachlan, Natalie Imbruglia and Holly Valance.
Sorry will be available to download and stream on Monday 8th April 2019.
