Last night Mutya Keisha Siobhan turned on the Christmas lights at Victoria’s Cardinal Place.
The recently reformed trio performed at the event and launched #CreateChristmas
Talking about the event MKS said, “We’re thrilled to have performed at the launch of #CreateChristmas at Cardinal Place and to officially switch on Victoria’s Christmas lights. #CreateChristmas celebrates the beauty and magic of our amazing city and we’re so excited to be part of this one off exhibition created by Londoners.”
Over the past week or so Londoners have been sharing photographs which capture the beauty of the capital at Christmas. Tonight, and for the next two nights, the best submissions – as chosen by Time Out London’s chief photographer Rob Grieg – are being projected onto the 10-storey façade of Cardinal Place. Each photo will be projected for 20 seconds from 5.30-7.30pm and for every photo that makes it into the final exhibition, Land Securities will donate £1 to The Prince’s Trust’s Christmas Appeal.
There is still time for the public to enter their festive photos, past and present, to be projected onto the side of Cardinal Place on Friday and Saturday night by submitting them at Facebook.com/createvictoria. Check out some pictures from last night:
