Michelle Branch announces release of Hopeless Romantic

Michelle Branch will release her first new studio album in 14 years on 7th April 2017 it has been announced.

Hopeless Romantic, released through Verve Records, is the singer-songwriters follow-up to 2003’s Grammy-nominated Hotel Paper. The record was recorded primarily in Los Angeles and produced by Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) and Gus Seyffert (Beck, Norah Jones, Sia).

ā€œA lot of these songs are about heartbreak, but knowing that it doesnā€™t mean the end of the world. It just means letting go and moving on and knowing that youā€™re going to be okay,ā€ says Michelle. ā€œThis is my first real-life autobiographical record.ā€

The album’s first single is the title track, Hopeless Romantic, and is available on download and streaming services now.

Michelle and her band (Patrick Carney on drums and husband and wife duo, Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley from indie pop band Tennis) previewed tracks from Hopeless Romantic at the Bowery Electric in New York City on 25th January 2017.
