Michelle Branch announces one-off London show at the Lexington

Michelle Branch will make her live return to London with a one-off show at the Lexington on 22nd March 2017.

The show will see the singer-songwriter previewing songs from her forthcoming album Hopeless Romantic, due for release on 7th April 2017. She will be joined by a band that features The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, who also co-produced the album; Beck bassist (and album co-producer) Gus Seyffert; Killers guitarist Jake Blanton; and Sturgill Simpsonā€™s keyboard player Bobby Emmett.

Hopeless Romantic is Michelle’s 4th studio album and her first since 2003’s Hotel Paper. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producers Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) and Gus Seyffert (Beck, Norah Jones, Sia). It will be released on Verve Records.

ā€œA lot of these songs are about heartbreak, but knowing that it doesnā€™t mean the end of the world. It just means letting go and moving on and knowing that youā€™re going to be okay,ā€ says Michelle. ā€œThis is my first real-life autobiographical record.ā€
