Maroon 5 to release new album V in September

Maroon 5 have announced that they will release new album V through new label Interscope Records on 2nd September.

V has been recorded with producers Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Sam Martin. The album reunites the band with long-time keyboardist Jesse Carmichael who took a hiatus from the band before their 2012 album Overexposed.

The band has also signed a worldwide tour deal with Live Nation and will announce tour dates over the coming weeks.

This marks the first new material from the band in 2 years with frontman Adam Levin taking time to pursue acting with roles in American Horror Story and forthcoming musical drama Begin Again opposite Keira Knightley. He is also part of the coaching panel for The Voice US.
