Maroon 5 will release their new single Sugar on 8th March 2015.
The single is the third to be taken from the band’s Top 5 album V following previous hits Maps and Animals. The music video for Sugar has been directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) and sees the band gate-crashing wedding venues around LA.
Talking about the video frontman Adam Levin says, ‘It was an out of body experience. I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests’.
The video for Sugar has already received over 40 million views.
Maroon 5 will be back in the UK in May for a string of headline dates, their first since their iTunes Festival show last September. The dates are:
