Mariah Carey is due to premiere new song Almost Home on February 19th taken from the new Disney movie Oz the Great and Powerful.
Ahead of the song’s debut Mariah has released a snippet of the track which sees her in fine vocal form. In recent years she’s recorded much of her music in her breathy falsetto and whistle range but for Almost Home it sounds like classic Mariah is back.
The track was co-produced by Mariah with Stargate and co-written with Simone Porter, Justin Gray, Lindsey Ray, Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen.
A music video directed by David LaChapelle is expected to debut soon and Almost Home will be available worldwide on iTunes from February 19th.
