Ludovico Einaudi, who has released his 14th studio album Seven Days Walking: Day One today, has announced a UK tour kicking off later this year.
The musician will play two shows at London’s Union Chapel on 28th and 29th March before embarking on five nights at London’s Barbican from 31st July to 4th August. In October he will then tour across the country taking in shows in Birmingham, Brighton, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Nottingham.
Seven Days Walking is Einaudi’s ambitious new project that will see him release 7 albums in 7 months. Following today’s release of Seven Days Walking: Day One, he will release Seven Days Walking: Day Two next month.
Once all 7 albums have been released, a complete box-set will arrive in the autumn.
The project was recorded between September and October of last year in Schloss Elmau, Germany and Londonās Air Studios, and features Federico Mecozzi on violin and viola and Redi Hasa on cello, alongside Ludovico himself on piano.
