Ed Sheeran & Rudimental have teamed up for new single Bloodstream.
Released on 29th March 2015, the collaboration is the first release from Rudimental in 2015 and follows Ed’s huge success with his second album x in 2014. The audio for the track has been released and you can listen to it at the bottom of this article.
Bloodstream is featured on x and has become a firm favourite for Ed’s live shows. The Rick Rubin-produced track was written by Sheeran, Hackney collective Rudimental, and Johnny McDaid/Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol.
Ed commented, “Bloodstream’ is one of my favourites to play live as it always gets the crowd going. Rudimental and I wrote the track in June last year. It was brilliant to get back in the studio with them – they’re such a laugh and I’m sure their new album is going to be huge.”
x has now sold over 5 million copies worldwide and has topped the UK Albums Chart 12 times so far. It’s been firmly lodged in the Top 10 since its release last June.
Ed will play three sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium on the 10th, 11th and 12th of July. Rudimental are currently finishing their second studio album.
