Dennis Lloyd has released new single Never Go Back, the follow-up to last year’s hit Nevermind.
The Israeli artist sings in English and Spanish backed by handclaps and guitar. The catchy track blends pop, R&B, rock and reggae. Take a listen:
About Never Go Back, Dennis says, “I wrote it after we broke up during a really lonely time when I felt depressed. If I don’t feel anything, I don’t write music. But I wrote and recorded this in 45 minutes. The song is a dialogue between her and me. It’s part of a group of four songs that tells the whole story.”
Never Go Back arrives before Lloyd’s debut EP, which is due for release this spring. He’s also heading out on a North American tour that includes performances at Coachella.
Born and raised in Israel, Lloyd enlisted in the army for three years after attending art school. He then moved to Bangkok where he spent a year creating music and he recorded 40 songs.
