Lady Antebellum are stepping outside of their comfort zone and trying something new by collaborating with dance star Audien on his new single Something Better.
Something Better is the first single from Audien’s forthcoming EP due for release in August. The song fuses the country sensibilities of Lady Antebellum with Audien’s dance rhythms and melodies. The end result is addictive and something completely different from Lady Antebellum.
Talking about the collaboration Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley says, “Working with someone like Audien puts us a little outside of our comfort zone. But as a band, we’ve always been up for trying different things. The first time we heard the song we knew we wanted to be part of it….we were immediately drawn to its great melody and powerful lyric.”
To promote the single Audien will be hitting the festival and club circuits including Electric Zoo, Tomorrowland, Sun City Music Festival and Nocturnal Wonderland.
In his career to date Audien picked up a Grammy nomination for his remix of Bastille’s Pompei and topped the Billboard Dance Chart with Insomnia, a collaboration with Brooklyn-based Parson James.
