Katy Perry has released the lyric video for her latest single Swish Swish featuring Nicki Minaj.
The lyric video features Brazilian popstar Gretchen and it was show in Salvador, Brazil. It was directed by Dario Vetere and David Campbell, produced by Amina Alakija with choreography by Fabio Duarte and CK Calasans.
Gretchen rose to fame in the early 80s with a string of hits including Freak Le Boom Boom, Melô do Piripipi and Conga Conga Conga. She has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and is Latin America’s ‘Queen of the Internet memes’.
The video comes hot on the heels of Perry’s new album Witness shooting straight to number 1 in the US. It also topped the iTunes chart in 46 countries.
Swish Swish is the third track to be lifted from Witness following Chained to the Rhythm featuring Skip Marley and Bon Appetit featuring Migos.
