Joseph Arthur will perform a one-off show at The Borderline in London on Sunday 17th April 2016 it has been announced.
Ahead of the release of his new solo album The Family, expected later this summer, the show is sure to be a treat for fans. Arthur is expected to sing a mix of songs from his catalogue and new material.
Over his career to date, Arthur has released more than 20 albums including collaborations with Lou Reed, Dhani Harrison and Ben Harper of Fistful of Mercy, Peter Gabriel, T-Bone Burnett, and RNDM with Pearl Jamās Jeff Ament.
The singer-songwriter was discovered by Peter Gabriel and signed to his Real World label in 1997. He is known for his experimental folk-rock style, diverse instrumentation and eclectic electronic production elements.
His show is set to be a can’t miss affair as Arthur is famous for his unique solo live performances often incorporate the use of a number of distortion and loop pedals, sometimes live painting and a sprinkling of beat-poetry.
