Paolo Nutini has collaborated with Joanna Lumley for the music video for new single One Day.
The music video has been directed by Ian Pons Jewell and is based on the Giallo genre; the surreal erotic horror films that originated in Italy in the 1960s. Lumley stars in the video as a female cabaret singer trapped in a dark jazz lounge, singing every night.
With a leather gloved killer at her disposal, he takes the youth from the young girls who perform there, allowing the aging singer to be turned back to a young woman one more night.
One Day is the latest single to be taken from Paolo’s platinum-selling third album Caustic Love and will be released on 30th November 2014. The song is produced by Paolo with Dani Castelar.
Paolo will be playing a string of live shows in January 2015 taking in sold out dates in Glasgow and Cardiff, and a date at London’s O2 Arena.
