James Blunt to release new album Once Upon a Mind in October

James Blunt has announced the release of his new album Once Upon a Mind, which will arrive via Atlantic Records on 25th October 2019.

The first single from the album is Cold, which is available to stream and download now. Watch the lyric video for the track below:

For Once Upon a Mind Blunt is returning to basics following the more electronica feel of his last album The Afterlove, which came out in 2017. Blunt has worked with Steve Robson, Jimmy Hogarth and TMS on the new record.

“I think this is the most honest album I have ever made.” Blunt says. “Back To Bedlam was similar in that I had been writing those songs for a while about my life experiences at that time, and they came together on my debut. And every song on this album represents something that I’m currently going through or have recently experienced. It’s a very personal record, and I’m proud I can share it.”

A UK tour for early 2020 will be announced shortly and we’ll bring you the details as soon as we have them.
