The NME Awards took place last night at London’s The Troxy and saw The Rolling Stones and Florence Welch pick up the top awards.
Rock icons The Rolling Stones picked up Best Live Band and Best Music Film whilst Florence collected Best Solo Artist and Best Dancefloor Anthem for her collaboration with Calvin Harris.
The Smiths’ Johnny Marr walked away with the Godlike Genius Award which recognised his achievements during the 30 years of his career to date.
