Fisherman’s Friends will release Keep Hauling, the soundtrack to the upcoming Fisherman’s Friends film on 15th March 2019.
Available for pre-order now, Keep Hauling features 17 Sea Shanties, some old, some new and some almost blue. Fans who pre-order the album will receive Le Capitaine De San Malo instantly.
Fisherman’s Friends, also released on 15th March, is based on the true story of the West Country musical phenomenon, a band of fishermen, shopkeepers, potters, and builders, that got to together 30 years ago to raise money for local charities by performing sea shanties on the beach in Port Isaac. The group has performed on Glastonburyās legendary Pyramid Stage, at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall and subsequently have toured all over the UK.
The film stars Daniel Mays (The Limehouse Golem, Swimming With Men), James Purefoy (Rome, Netflixās Altered Carbon), Tuppence Middleton (War & Peace, The Imitation Game), David Hayman (Finding Your Feet, Viceroyās House), Dave Johns (I, Daniel Blake, Walk Like A Panther) and Noel Clarke (Brotherhood, Star Trek: Into Darkness).
Fishermanās Friends was shot on location in Cornwall and comes from director Chris Foggin (Kids In Love) with a screenplay by Nick Moorcroft (Finding Your Feet), Meg Leonard (Finding Your Feet) and Piers Ashworth (St. Trinians).
