Fatboy Slim is releasing new album Fatboy Slim presents Bem Brasil on 26th May 2014.
The album features brand new tracks and remixes by DJ Fresh, Gregor Salto, Psychemagik, Eats Everything, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Claude Von Stroke and Joey Negro. Some of the tracks are set around samples of classic Brasilian tracks whilst others take inspiration from Brasilian music.
Fatboy Slim presents Bem Brasil is being dubbed as the alternative soundtrack to this year’s World Cup and follows the artist’s long love affair with football.
Talking about the release Fatboy Slim aka Norman Cook said, “Given my love of Brasilian music, parties and football it is no surprise that with World Cup happening this year I want to share that love by providing a soundtrack for the summer, based on Brasilian music”.
Ahead of the World Cup, Fatboy Slim will set off for a pre-cup recce and 6-date carnival tour of Brasil.
