Actress Eva Longoria has marked the upcoming 20th anniversary of the Spice Girls debut album Spice by reciting the lyrics to the group’s debut hit Wannabe in the style of a soap star.
Longoria, who is currently starring on Telenovela, channels her latest small screen character as she dramatically delivers the lyrics to the catchy song. Her take on them is very dramatic, totally OTT and very funny.
The video segment was filmed for Mashable Watercooler and it’s fitting tribute to the girl group. Longoria is close friends with Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham, and she’s previously shared photos on Instagram of her hanging out with other members from the world conquering group.
The world is still waiting in anticipation to find out if the Spice Girls will be doing anything to commemorate their 20th anniversary this year. Victoria Beckham is believed to be the most reluctant to get back together with the group.
