Ed Sheeran has celebrated his birthday by releasing new track How Would You Feel (Paean), taken from his forthcoming album Ć· (divide).
The ballad is written and produced by Ed, and follows the release of his huge singles Shape of You and Castle on the Hill. The track is a sharp contrast to both of those taking Ed back to his singer-songwriter roots with honest lyrics, a simple melody and a stunning vocal.
Shape of You and Castle on the Hill have spent the past 5 weeks at number 1 and 2 in the UK charts respectively and it looks likely that Shape of You will hold on to the number one spot when the charts are announced later today.
The singles have passed a combined total of 1 billion streams since their release.
Ć· (divide) will be released on 3rd March 2017 and it looks like it’s going to be the biggest album of the year.
Ed will perform at next weekās BRIT Awards and heāll also complete the line-up for this yearās Teenage Cancer Trust live gigs with a performance at the Royal Albert Hall on 28th March 2017. His sold out UK and Ireland headline tour, which kicks-off in April, will include three dates at The O2 on May 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
