David Guetta will be taking over MTV Music with David Guetta’s Global Dance Anthems tomorrow night.
The international superstar DJ will be counting down chart-toppers from some of the most successful artists in house music including Sia, Alesso, Afrojack and Avicii. Guetta will of course be including some of his own hits such as I Got A Feeling and Sweat in the countdown too.
During the show Guetta opens up about his career and how he first got into the house world, “It was a very long time ago, in ‘87 and the first time I heard Love Can’t Turn Around by Farley Jackmaster Funk. I was like WOW this is crazy. I was very young, and my first job as a DJ was in a gay club and that was where they were playing house music, because at the time they played house music only in gay clubs. That is where I discovered my passion for this kind of music, and later on it was everywhere and then now on the radio and at festivals.”
Guetta is renowned for his show-stopping sets around the world where he drops the best and biggest beats. He has been responsible for some huge hits including Titanium, When Love Takes Over and Without You.
Tune into MTV Music on Saturday 8th November at 8pm for the top 20 countdown of David Guetta’s Global Dance Anthems.
