Danielle Bradbery adds Thomas Rhett for Goodbye Summer single release

Danielle Bradbery has given her track Goodbye Summer an overhaul for its single release.

The track, available to stream and download now, now features vocals from Thomas Rhett, who co-wrote the track with Rhett Akins, Julian Bunetta and the Cadillac Threeā€™s Jaren Johnston. Take a listen to it below:

Taken from Bradbery’s latest album I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, the song has been reimagined with Rhett bringing a male perspective to the song’s meaning.

ā€œThomas Rhett was one of the first mentors I had in Nashville and weā€™ve become really good friends over the years. He’s like a big brother to me, so to be able to record a song he wrote was incredibly special,ā€ explains Bradbery. ā€œI remember when I first heard the demo, I actually jammed to it with Thomas Rhett’s vocal on it as if it wasn’t even going to be mine. Now to have the opportunity to re-record the song with him – itā€™s a dream scenario.ā€

ā€œItā€™s been fun watching this song evolve since I first recorded the demoā€ Thomas Rhett said. ā€œDanielleā€™s voice really took it to another level, and Iā€™m pumped that we got the chance to team up on a new version. Itā€™s always a blast getting to create with your friends.ā€

Goodbye Summer is the follow-up to Worth It and is a perfect track for the summer months.

Bradbery will be back in the UK in November when she supports Rhett on his one-off London show alongside Devin Dawson.
