Keep reading to find out who is featured in this edition…

Canaan Smith – Hole in a Bottle

Following on from his number 1 Country Airplay hit Love You Like That, Hole in a Bottle is the second single taken from Canaan’s debut album Bronco, which was released last year. Hole in a Bottle is currently climbing up both the Country and Country Airplay charts and signs are good that it’s going to be another huge hit for the singer.

Carrie Underwood – Heartbeat

The leading female artist in Country music recently unveiled the music video for Heartbeat, the second single to be taken from her latest hit album Storyteller. The track features background vocals from fellow chart-topper Sam Hunt and it’s a slight change of pace for Carrie. She sang the song at the end of the year during The X Factor live shows.

Chris Lane – Fix

Formerly of the Chris Lane Band, Chris Lane has decided to follow his solo dreams with the release of his new EP Fix. The 6-track EP establishes Chris’ place in the current Country music landscape. With catchy hooks, solid vocals and a radio-friendly vibe, we have a feeling that 2016 is going to be a very good year for this rising star.

Keith Urban – Break On Me

Just because Keith is returning to American Idol for its finale season, doesn’t mean that he’s not concentrating on his music. Break On Me is the follow-up to the radio dominating John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16 and is taken from his forthcoming album Ripcord. The lyric video for the song has recently been released and you can see it below.

Lindsay Ell – By the Way

Rising Canadian star Lindsay Ell could be about to breakthrough with her new single By the Way. She’s been flirting with the higher end of the US Country Chart since 2013 but the buzz around By the Way suggests that all of her hard work is about to pay off. With strong vocals and a memorable melody, By the Way is one song you can’t afford to ignore.

Maddie & Tae – Shut Up and Fish

The duo made waves with their catchy breakout hit Girl in a Country Song and they picked up plenty of acclaim for their debut album Start Here. Shut Up and Fish is the follow-up to hit Fly and sees the girls reversing the gender stereotypes for another radio-friendly country/pop crossover gem.

Sam Hunt – Break Up in a Small Town

With sales of his album Montevallo approaching 1 million in the US, it seems there’s no stopping the rise of the mighty Sam Hunt. Having already spawned several hits, the album isn’t done yet as Break Up in a Small Town is the latest cut from the record. Marrying the speak-sing style verses of Take Your Time with a killer chorus it’s one of the best songs on Montevallo.
