Canadian Blast back at The Great Escape

Canadian Blast will be back at the Great Escape festival this year.

Spread across three days the performers will represent some of Canada’s finest and thriving independent music scene. The event is hosted by the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) the esteemed visits music conferences all over the world, introducing handpicked artists to international audiences of new music fans and industry folk alike.

Brighton’s Green Door Store will once more provide the backdrop to the upcoming live shows and will be known as the Canada House over the Great Escape festival weekend. The Canadian Blast’s venerated reputation for providing exceptional new talent often sees crowds snaking around the block so expect another exciting year full of exciting new music.

CIMA is once more teaming up with its Music Export Canada brand partners Breakout West, Bring it Ontario by OMDC and Music Ontario, Music Nova Scotia, in this invaluable initiative to promote the best new Canadian music to the rest of the world.

This year the bands set to play at the Green Store are The Garrys, Partner, Basement Revolver, Dizzy, The Beaches, Freak Heat Waves, Boniface, Devarrow, Hillsburn, Hello Delaware, Walrus, Vissia, Megan Nash, Daysormay, Little Destroyer, Respectfulchild, Nehiyawak, Raleigh and Peach Pit.

The Great Escape Festival is the UK’s premier new music showcase event, where the great and good of
the industry can meet and network with international cohorts whilst scouring multiple venues on the hunt for exciting new music.

Canadian Blast will be at The Great Escape 2018 between 17th and 19th May.
