Cambridge folk festival has revealed the first wave of acts set to perform at next summer’s event. Next year’s headline acts include the likes of José González, Lucinda Williams and guest curator, Nick Mulvey. Tickets for the festival can be purchased from the official website. Next year’s guest curator is no other than Nick Mulvey, who will take over the reins from Rhiannon Giddens, he will be selecting his favourite artists to join him at the Festival as well as taking to his stage during the weekend. José González will bring his beautiful, classically-inspired indie-folk to Cambridge Folk Festival whilst Grammy award winner, Lucinda Williams will bring rock, folk, country and blues. Held each year since 1965, the Festival is renowned for its unique atmosphere and eclectic mix of music. It attracts legendary traditional folk artists along with cutting edge contemporary acts, the finest American country, blues and roots artists and acclaimed singer songwriters.
