Brent Cobb returns to the UK next month

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Brent Cobb has announced he will return to the UK next month.

The four dates are part of Cobb’s European tour, which begins in Dublin on 4th September. He’ll play shows in London, Manchester and Brighton, as well as an appearance at The Long Road Festival. The tour will also visit the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Rising singer-songwriter Zack Logan will provide support for all dates.

Cobb previously toured the UK in 2017, selling out shows in London and Manchester. He also performed at The Great Escape and Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival.

To mark the tour announcement, Cobb has shared a backstage acoustic recording of his song 30-06. The clip was filmed in Mountain View, California, where Cobb opened for Chris Stapleton on his US tour. He’s also released clips from his performance at Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he sang A Road Too Long and High In The Country.

Cobb released his latest album, Providence Canyon, in May via Low Country Sound/Atlantic Records. Grammy Award winner Dave Cobb produced the 11-song set, recorded at Nashville’s legendary RCA Studio A. It won critical acclaim from outlets including the Guardian, the Independent and Mojo for its blend of southern rock, country and Americana.

Cobb released his previous album, Shine On Rainy Day, in 2016 and it was nominated for Best Americana Album at the 60th Grammy Awards. He was also nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2017 Americana Honors & Awards. Additionally, Cobb is widely respected as a songwriter and has crafted songs for artists including Lee Ann Womack, Luke Bryan, The Oak Ridge Boys, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert.
