Björk has released her eighth studio album Vulnicura on iTunes in the UK ahead of its physical release in March.
The surprise release will be rolled out on iTunes worldwide over the next 24 hours via One Little Indian Records. The CD and vinyl versions will still be released in March as previously announced.
For Vulnicura Björk teamed up with Venezuelan producer Arca and British musician The Haxan Cloak. Six of the album’s tracks are written by Björk with two co-written with Arca and one co-written with Spaces.
Vulnicura is Björk’s first release since 2011 album and multimedia project Biophilia. The tracklisting for the album is:

To mark the release Björk has announced intimate shows this spring at Carnegie Hall on March 7 and 14 and at City Center March 25 and 28 and April 1 and 4. The series of shows culminates with a performance at the Governors Ball music festival in New York this June.
