Birdy has revealed that her brand single Words As Weapons will be released on 14th April.
The track is the latest to be taken from her Top 10 album Fire Within and follows previous singles Wings and Light Me Up. Fire Within debuted in the Top 10 in 9 countries upon its release peaking at number 8 in the UK.
Talking about the single Birdy said, “Words as Weapons is one of my favourite tracks on the album and I love performing it live. I love the way the track is layered with harmonies which creates a wall of sound. I’m hugely proud of the song.”
The singer-songwriter has also announced that she’s one of the new faces of GAP’s new Lived-In advertising campaign. She joins the likes of Anna Calvi, RJ Mitte, Julia Garner and Ernest Green for the global campaign.
