Beyonce announces Formation stadium world tour

After surprising fans with the release of new single Formation this weekend, Beyonce dropped another surprise by announcing The Formation World Tour.

News of the stadium tour came following the star’s appearance during Superbowl 50 where she performed alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, is presented by American Express and produced by Parkwood Entertainment.

The Formation World Tour kicks off in North America on 27th April 2016 in Miami. The tour will also head to Europe with cities including London, Manchester, Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Stockholm and Frankfurt.

The new world tour marks Beyonce’s first since her Mrs Carter Show World Tour in 2013.

Tickets for the shows will go on-sale starting Monday 15th February 2016 in Europe and Tuesday 16th February 2016 in North America.
