This Friday All Points East will open its festival doors for the very first time in Victoria Park.
Following the release of Friday’s playlist, which includes music from LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix and many more, EF is now sharing All Points East Saturday playlist, which includes another stellar line-up of the likes of Jamie XX, Lorde, Justice and Sampha.
Since bursting onto the scene with their critically acclaimed, Mercury Prize winning debut album, The xx have honed their trademark minimalist electronic indie to become one of the biggest bands the UK has produced in a long time. Live the band never stops amazing fans with both mesmerising lychees and impressive visuals. Third record I See You saw them step up to truly conquer the world stage with a slew of festival headline shows across the globe as well as a record breaking, sold-out, seven night run at London’s prestigious Brixton Academy.
The xx are joined by pop sensation Lorde, who is sure to bring an unmissable show that will confirm her place as one of the most exciting artists of the modern era. Mercury Prize winner Sampha will be serving up raw cuts and shimmering electronic delights from debut album ‘Process’, plus performances from Jamaican superstar and Jamie xx collaborator Popcaan, the dreamy electronic pop of Lykke Li & Skepta and Frank Ocean collaborator Rex Orange County!
